Summary

Ékó lá wa is a short documentary film that delves into the dynamic world of female skateboarding in Lagos, Nigeria. The film follows a collective of young women who refuse to be constrained by societal expectations. Skating through Lagos and putting up with curious onlookers, dismissive comments and sometimes hostility.  Ékó lá wà is freedom, joy, creativity and community
