Ramyata Limbu is a veteran Nepali Journalist, co-producer of multiple award-winning Nepali Feature documentaries and the director of the internationally acclaimed KIMFF(Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival). Previously she has spent several years working as a producer for Young Asia Television where she produced programs focusing on social issues in Nepal and she has also worked as a political officer for the United Nations Mission in Nepal.

KIMFF, standing for Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival, is Nepal's longest running and largest film festival, founded in 2000. They have screened hundreds of films and organised numerous discussion on the state of the mountains and their societies.
